Infinity #1 & The Walking Dead #113
So I broke down today and picked up the latest issue of The Walking Dead and Infinity #1 today at Sun Comics in Milton and boy am I glad I did!

Issue #113 of The Walking Dead finds Rick on the receiving end of a failed attempt of killing Negan. Negan for those that don't know is the new bad guy who is the worst of the worst. After the brutal beating of Glenn's head with his precious Lucille (issue #100), the use of fuck every other word, and the fact when he is mad he speaks in a very polite and calm voice, you know this is no guy to be trifled with! With Rick's neck on the line and the assassination plot foiled, Carl takes a shot at Negan putting a hole in part of Lucille which sends Negan over the top! While all this is going on Andrea, who was deployed in a bell tower as a sniper, is fighter for her life as one of Negan's cronies finds her location and attacks. She barely survives the attack by stabbing her assailant and then tossing him from the bell tower to his death. Negan has Rick and his fellow survivors on their knees lined up so Lucille can get her justice (much as she did in issue #100 with Glenn) and then Rick sees a body falling from the tower to their death. Negan tells him that his woman sniper is fucked and that he is going to kill everyone of them unless they turn Carl over for hurting his precious Lucille. The issue ends with Negan walking in front of Rick's group getting ready to dispense justice! On a special note I lucked out and picked up a copy of Infinity #1 Party Sketch Variant. For those of you that don't know this issue is super rare and limited to one copy per store!
Infinity #1 begins where the FCBD teaser left off. The Builders, just having finished taking out a world, set their sites on Earth. With the news of this reaching the Avengers, almost every hero on earth (with the exception of Iron Man) heads out into space to join up with the rest of the galaxies in an attempt to stop the them. While this is going on an assassin breaches Black Bolt's compound and retrieves something from his mind and narrowly escapes to bring the information back to none other than Thanos. Thanos announces his plan to attack earth and is warned that every attempt has failed prompting him to inform his allies that Earth has been left without its heroes.
